Your hosts Lee and Anna Newsome warmly welcome you to the hotel A Colina. An intimate 11 bedroom hotel set in the tranquil orange groves of Ludo Valley Almancil. Overlooking the Ria Formosa nature reserve and two of the finest golf courses in the area with panoramic views leading towards the sea. Just 10 minutes from Faro airport in the heart of the Algarves golden triangle.
 The A Colina is in close proximaty (5 minutes) to many of the areas best golf courses and stunning beaches making it a perfect holiday or short break destination. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and the high level of personal service provided by our friendly staff.

Nine double or twin rooms and two family rooms are available. All rooms have air conditioning, safe, ensuite shower rooms, mini bar, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have internet connections on request.

The stylish but informal restaurant has panoramic views leading towards the sea. Using only the freshest ingredients ( some of which we grow ourselves) the food is of the highest quality.
Chef / owner Lee Newsome ( formely Head chef Savoy London) has created fantastic food to suit all tastes and budgets.

The menu reflects the many international influences Lee - or 'Le Chef' as he good-humouredly promotes himself, with a grinning cartoon caricature to match - has enjoyed throughout his career, revamping the line-up every two months to match his mood and ingredient availability.

The golf courses of Pinhieros Altos and the new Qinta do Lago Laranja ( soon to be opened ) can clearly be seen from our terrace whilst enjoying drinks. Just a few minutes drive from both Vale do Lobo courses, Ocean and Royal, as well as Quinta's other famous north and south courses. San lorenzo is within touching distance, and 5 minutes further afield can be found all five Vilamoura courses and the highly regarded Vila Sol.
